Aligned Machinery has completed Phase 1 of its rooftop solar power project, and the system is now operational, marking another step toward more sustainable manufacturing.
The first phase includes 663 solar panels with a total installed capacity of 400 kWp. The system is expected to generate approximately 480,000 kWh of clean electricity annually. The electricity is used to power our factory first, with surplus power fed back into the grid, helping reduce our reliance on grid electricity.
Phase 2, with an additional capacity of 800 kWp, is already underway and is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of 2026. Once completed, the project will reach a total installed capacity of 1,200 kWp, three times that of Phase 1.
Manufacturing requires significant energy, and reducing its environmental impact is an important part of our sustainability efforts. By generating clean electricity on-site, we are taking practical steps to reduce our reliance on conventional power sources and make our manufacturing operations more sustainable.
For our customers, this is part of our commitment to responsible manufacturing and continuous improvement.
