Three Pillars of a Meaningful FAT
The session was structured around three core components. First, on-site troubleshooting: every aspect of the equipment was examined under the direct involvement of the client's team, with any issues identified and fully resolved before the machines were cleared for shipment. Nothing was deferred to post-delivery.
Second, a full line run under real operating conditions. Testing equipment at production scale — not in isolation, not at reduced speed — is what separates a genuine acceptance test from a demonstration. The client saw exactly how the line performs when it matters.
Third, hands-on operator training. By the close of the FAT session, the client's team had sufficient familiarity with the equipment to run it independently from day one of installation. That level of preparedness has a direct impact on commissioning timelines and early production performance.
Confidence Before Shipment Saves Time After Delivery
The underlying principle of FAT is straightforward: problems identified and resolved at the factory cost far less — in time, logistics, and disruption — than the same problems discovered after delivery. A client who leaves the facility with complete operational confidence is a client whose installation proceeds on schedule.
